About Us

A community working toward a rabies-free Indonesia.

Sahabat Sehati focuses on rabies prevention and control in Indonesia — through education, campaigns, and advocacy.

Our story

Many know the symptoms; few know how to prevent it.

It has been more than 100 years since rabies was first reported in Indonesia. Many people recognize the signs of rabies, but few understand how it spreads and how to prevent it.

Sahabat Sehati exists to close that knowledge gap — raising public awareness, especially among children, and promoting responsible pet ownership.

Vision

A rabies-free Indonesia.

Mission

Supporting the government's rabies control and elimination programs through public awareness, children's education, and responsible pet-ownership campaigns.

What we do

Three core programs.

Rabies education Education programs for schools and communities on prevention and first aid.
Information campaigns Public-awareness and social-media campaigns that correct rabies misinformation.
Advocacy Encouraging national and regional governments to strengthen rabies control programs.
